Meatbox is on a mission to bring the best cured and fresh meat from all corners of the country to (and through!) your front door! They use independent butchers and artisan producers to bring quality, free range produce to you wherever you are, and I must say – we approve! When the snack box arrived at the office there were some envious looks on the weekly video meeting from those working from home. For those lucky enough to be there when the delivery arrived, there was plenty to try, from tasty beer sticks to the brilliantly named Snackingham – delicious juniper and star anise infused air dried ham! We particularly loved the tomato and basil beef biltong though the box is packed with amazing flavours.
You can get a Meatbox as a one-off delivery or as a subscription to come every month, for yourself or as a gift for someone who deserves a special treat, although Meatbox make a point of ensuring that all their boxes are affordable. There are plenty of cured meats, but you can also choose from some great free-range fresh meat boxes, and boxes are grouped into special selections such as Connoisseurs Charcuterie, BBQ or Midweek.
