In unmanned foyers which serve multiple flats or offices, the security of mail is a particular concern. To minimise the risk of damage to post boxes and theft of mail, we have developed Cerberus. These enhanced security post boxes can be grouped in multiples, according to the number of properties in your building.

All of our communal postal boxes meet EU standards, meaning they incorporate robust materials, anti-theft features and secure locks. However, we know that communal post boxes can be targeted by other residents, visitors or those who gain unauthorised access to the building. To minimise this risk, we developed enhanced security post boxes.

Our Cerberus post boxes for flats include 4 enhanced security features:

1. 3-point locks; fixing the doors at the top, middle and bottom when twisted shut.
2. Two baffle plates; A4 envelopes can still be delivered, yet any access to the hold that is attempted without a key is extremely limited, so fishing for mail is prevented.
3. No small window in the boxes, so it is impossible to see if there is mail in the hold, or not.
4. Three hinges holding the post box doors firmly in place.

Cerberus enhanced security post boxes are suitable for internal or external use and include three pre-drilled holes for fixing. We recommend positioning them in an area covered by surveillance.
