Starling is a simple, internal communal parcel box system designed for flats and offices, where each tenant or office has their own dedicated parcel box. Unlike shared parcel lockers, this ensures secure, hassle-free deliveries without subscriptions, electronics, or the risk of mix-ups.

Inspired by the starling bird’s ability to work in harmony within a flock, Parcel and Letterbox for Flats and Offices Starling brings structured coordination to parcel deliveries, making it ideal for apartment buildings, office spaces, and co-working environments. Built on the success of our external Woodpecker parcel box, Starling is a practical and space-efficient solution that adapts to modern delivery needs.

Installation and Setup

Each unit can be installed as a standalone parcel box or stacked two units high. They can be wall-mounted or free-standing, depending on your available space and preference.

If wall-mounting, we strongly recommend using a support base to provide additional stability. The bottom of the parcel box and the base (plinth) are pre-drilled, making it easy to securely join them together and anchor them to the ground. This ensures durability and prevents unnecessary strain on the wall.

For wider installations, units can be joined side by side. However, due to the weight of the boxes, we do not provide pre-assembled larger sets. For easier future maintenance, such as replacing a unit when needed, we recommend mounting them individually rather than permanently connecting them.

Ordering the Right Configuration

Starling is available in two variations:

• With Base – Includes a support base for floor-standing installations.
• Without Base – For direct wall mounting or use with a separate base.

For example, if you need a configuration of eight parcel boxes (two high × four wide), you should order:

• Four parcel boxes with a base (one for each vertical column).
• Four parcel boxes without a base (to stack on top).

Alternatively, you can order all without bases if you plan to wall-mount, but we recommend supporting the weight with a base where possible.

Optional Vinyl Numbering

For easy identification, we offer vinyl numbering as an additional option. If you’d like numbering applied to your parcel boxes, please contact us after placing your order but before dispatch so we can arrange this for you.
