Dispatch and Delivery

Please allow enough time for products to be delivered and inspected before booking tradesmen or beginning any works. Letterbox4you cannot be held responsible for out-of-pocket expenses resulting from dispatch errors, products being unavailable, damaged in transit or for any delay in delivery.

 

Standard and Next Day delivery

  • Please note, delivery times are not guaranteed and there can be delays while your parcel is on it's way to you. An e-mail dispatch confirmation with parcel tracking number will be sent for the majority of standard orders. This tracking is the best way to keep an eye on your parcel delivery and respond to any notices from the delivery company if they have difficulty delivering to your address.
  • We aim to dispatch all purchases received before midday (Monday to Friday) on the same day.
  • Large deliveries will be via pallet with 2-3 working days delivery, for standard pallet delivery there must be someone on site to accept delivery between 9am and 5pm, a re-delivery fee will be charged if no-one is available to receive the delivery. There are options available for AM or timed delivery for some UK mainland areas.  The delivery vehicle can only delivery to a safe flat area where there are no parking restrictions. Please get in touch if you need to discuss your delivery or add details to your order notes at checkout if there are a special delivery instructions, however please be aware that we may not be able to accommodate all requests and by placing your order, you are accepting the delivery terms.
  • Smaller items dispatched via Royal Mail or courier.
  • Letterboxes dispatched on Friday with Standard delivery will be delivered within 2-3 working days.
  • We do not dispatch items on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays.
  • Standard delivery to UK Mainland postcodes within 2-3 working days.
  • Next day delivery available to UK mainland postcodes for orders placed before midday Monday to Thursday only. If Next Day delivery is selected for orders placed after midday on a Thursday and all orders placed on a Friday, delivery will usually take place on the following Monday.
  • 1-2 additional days may be required in case of deliveries to Scottish Highlands. There are now longer delivery times for Channel Islands, Northern and Republic of Ireland due to additional times for customs clearance.
  • The customer is responsible for checking the condition of parcels on receipt of the goods. All damages, missing items or order errors must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. In instances where this is reported later we may not be able to replace or refund.

Express delivery

We have an express delivery option available if you need your letterbox urgently. Items dispatched this way would usually be delivered next working day by 12.00 noon, or on Saturday all day; Bank Holidays are excluded. Please allow enough time for the products to be delivered and inspected before booking tradesmen. We cannot be held responsible for out-of-pocket expenses resulting from products being unavailable, damaged in transit, courier delays or dispatch errors.

  • Please note that in order to receive your parcel before 12.00 the next working day, your order will need to be received before midday Mon-Thurs or before midday on Friday to receive all day delivery on a Saturday.
  • Please select Express delivery option at checkout before completing your purchase.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer this service to Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland.

International Deliveries

  • Goods delivered outside of the UK will have the shipping calculated at checkout based on weight and postal area.
  • If you are ordering through a company for delivery to The Republic of Ireland, you will need to provide us with your EORI number to clear customs.
  • Please check local import rules to find out what import duty and taxes may be payable on your delivery.
  • Our shipping partner will contact you separately to issue a request for payment before delivery. Please be sure to respond to their communication to prevent your order being held up at customs.
  • If the size and weight of your order warrants a pallet delivery, we will be in touch to arrange applicable customs documents to ensure a smooth delivery.
  • We are sorry that we are unable to deduct VAT when charging for goods. If you feel you qualify for a VAT refund, please contact us after delivery of your goods and we can credit the amount of VAT charged.
  • If your item is returned to us due to import charges being unpaid, we may need to charge further shipping fees to re-send.

We are happy to accept international orders from further afield, if there is no shipping option for your area, please get in touch. As Letterboxes and parcel boxes tend to be heavy items, shipping quotes can be very high and it can sometime prove more economical to arrange your own courier collection. Please make sure you are aware of any import duty or taxes that will be due to be paid on delivery. If you are unsure please send an email enquiry in the first instance.
